2PM finally came around as the sun was coming up bringing in the first game for the MB3 Silver Division as both Sabers Lakers & Sabers Panthers came onto the court. Lakers Russell Chang started off the game confident with strong ball handling at the top of the key, and not showing any fear even with 4 Panther defenders surrounding him. Panthers Jaden Gee also showed no remorse battling through 3 Laker defenders in the start of the first half. Gee’s teammate, Panthers Brady Tubon had great aggressive zone defense, while Lakers Jason Chin stayed true to excellent man-to-man defense throughout the game. Lakers Cameron Shimokawa also stepped it up with great recovery after hurting his leg in the first half, and brought back not only great defense, but also more heart racking up 4 extra points to the scoreboard. Sebastian Gastelum, from Panthers, was the all star of the day as he ran up and down the court all throughout the game with the strongest defensive strides and steals of his own.
