“Both the Tigers Tiger Sharks and the Tigers Lightning played great games. Tiger sharks won the tip off. Connor Ishida (Lightning) got the steal. Garret Matsukiyo (Tiger Sharks) stole the ball back and got fouled on the layup attempt and made both freethrows. Connor Ishida (Lightning) made a bank shot from the elbow. Lightning was able to move the ball really well and led to an open basket by James Chung. On the next possession, Garret Matsukiyo (Tiger Sharks) got an offensive rebound and the putback. Quinn Kato (Lightning) made a 3 point shot. Followed by a fastbreak layup by Connor Ishida (Lightning). Taiyo Dupuis (Tiger Sharks) had the assist to Koizumi Nonaka for a layup. Koizumi Nonaka was then able to get an offensive rebound and a layup (Tiger Sharks). This was followed by Johnny Nishimoto’s layup for the Tiger Sharks. Quinn Kato (Lightning) ended the game with a bank shot. The final score was 16 (Tiger Sharks) to 46 (Lightning).
