Superbowl Sunday and the basketball action was fast and exciting at the Eagle Rock Small Gym. Game time was 2:15 and a devoted crowd of 46 supporters cheered a great game between the Bruin’s Rule and the Jetts Scorpions. Lance Wong of the Bruins hit the first basket of the game and led the way on his team with 3 first half baskets! Way to go Lance! Not to be outdone, Marcelo Yip made a fast break and running layup. Both teams played strong defense and the second half scoring tapered off a bit. Colin Ho of the Bruins broke through with a great shot and score in the second half and Jaren Sin helped with some clean passing up court. Richard Ye of the Jets played strong in both halves and made a strong move to the basket in the second half to close out the game. Looking forward to next week!
